General Purpose Black Bitumen Paint is a black, solvent-borne, viscous liquid. Bitumen Paint is an economical anti-corrosive, and protective solution on a wide range of common building materials especially iron, steel, timber and concrete, fibre reinforced cement panels & masonry. It produces a flexible quick drying coating which is waterproof, weatherproof and corrosion resistant.
Bitumen Paint is suitable for the general protection of most building materials, particularly iron and steel, fibre, reinforced cement panels, concrete and masonry. Provides metal protection for Rainwater gutters and downpipes, storage tanks, corrugated iron sheets, fire escapes, stairways, ladders, piling, concrete posts and fencing. Black Bituminous Paint Conforms to B.S. 3416:1998 TYPE 1 Class A. Black Bitumen Paint provides anti-rust, waterproofing, flexible and durable properties.
Coverage on non-porous surfaces is approximately 10 square meters per litre, on porous surfaces it is approximately 8 square meters per litre. Black Bitumen Paint is available in 5, 2.5 and 1 litre sizes.
