Our Genuine Gum Turpentine is a traditional colourless natural organic solvent which has been steam distilled from the crude gum oleo resin of the pine tree, a process which separates the turpentine oil from the solid rosin (resin).
Genuine Pure Turpentine is generally used as a thinner by artists and professional decorators for thinning oil based paints and varnishes. May also be mixed with beeswax or carnauba wax, for polishes, giving them that distinctive fresh pine smell.
Genuine Pure Turpentine is available in 500ml and 2.5 Litre containers.
