Keen Super Zinc Rust Inhibiting Aerosol Primer is a low lustre mid-grey rust inhibiting spray paint primer for interior or exterior use on ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces. Specify it where you require MAXIMUM corrosion resistance in a spray aerosol due to it's extremely high Zinc content. Ideal for protecting cuts, drill holes, welds, and damage in ferrous metal, and galvanised steel surfaces, or for general ferrous metal priming prior to painting. Remove wax and degrease surfaces using Grax-it wax remover and degreaser before application.
Fast drying formulation, which is dry to the touch in only 15 minutes, gaining maximum adhesive strength in only 24 hours. Based on 99.5% pure zinc powder, which provides excellent cold cathodic rust protection. It may also be over-coated with any standard decorative paint finish system.
Ideal for the protection of all surfaces subject to corrosion, including tanks, pylons, welded joints, railings and carpentry. Useful for providing corrosion protection to newly threaded, cut, or welded surfaces.
