Keen Zinc-Aluminium Rust Inhibiting Aerosol Primer is a bright finish rust inhibiting spray paint primer for interior or exterior use on ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces. The Zinc-Aluminium primer provides a brighter finish, and tends to be selected for on-site re-protection of existing weathered (or new) galvanised metal surfaces - as it blends in better. Ideal for protecting cuts, drill holes, welds, and damage in galvanised steel, and all ferrous metal surfaces. Remove wax and degrease surfaces using Grax-it wax remover and degreaser before application.
Fast drying formulation, which is dry to the touch in only 15 minutes, gaining maximum adhesive strength in only 24 hours. Based on 99.5% pure zinc powder, which provides excellent cold galvanic rust protection, and may be over-coated with any standard decorative paint finish.
Ideal for the protection of all surfaces subject to corrosion, including tanks, pylons, welded joints, railings and carpentry. Useful for providing corrosion protection to newly threaded, cut or welded surfaces.
