Mirka Pad Saver for 150mm Disc Sander enables smooth and stable Abranet sanding. 67 hole Pad Saver fits ALL our 150mm backing pads (see links on right hand side of page). We also supply the Fossa Pad Protector as an alternative. The Pad Saver protects the backing pad from rapid wear out. In effect, it is a sacrificial hook n loop layer, which is far cheaper to replace than the whole backing pad.
We recommend replacing the Pad Saver Disc when the grip attachment of the Abranet sanding abrasive starts to become weak.
Application instructions: Match the Backing Pad Protector Disc hole pattern to the backing pad. Apply and press firmly onto the backing pad.
