Mirka Pad Saver Strip 81 x 133mm / 54 Hole, for Mirka orbital sanders as well as the Festool RTS 400 sander range (hole pattern matches 80 x 130mm Festool backing pad exactly). Enables smooth and stable Abranet sanding. The Pad Saver protects the backing pad from rapid wear out. In effect, it is a sacrificial hook n loop layer, which is far cheaper to replace than the whole backing pad.
We recommend replacing the Pad Saver strip when the grip attachment of the Abranet sanding abrasive starts to become weak.
Application instructions: Match the Backing Pad Protector hole pattern to the backing pad. Apply and press firmly onto the backing pad.
