Pad Saver for 150mm / 6 inch Disc Sander backing pads enables smooth and stable Abranet sanding. 51 hole Pad Saver fits ALL our 150mm backing pads including Mirka / Abranet / Autonet / Ceros (see links on right hand side of page). The Pad Saver protects the backing pad from rapid wear out. In effect, it is a sacrificial hook n loop layer, which is far cheaper to replace than the whole backing pad.
We recommend replacing the Pad Saver Disc when the grip attachment of your sanding abrasive starts to become weak.
Application instructions: Match the Backing Pad Protector Disc hole pattern to the backing pad. Apply and press firmly onto the backing pad.
