Rustoleum CombiColor 7300 Original Gloss is a solvent-borne, all-in-one primer and protective paint finish for metal surfaces available in an enormous range of colours, which are shipped on a next working day service. It's also available in Satin, Matt and Metallic finishes.
Rustoleum CombiColor 7300 Original Gloss provides a no nonsense, flexible, protective and decorative solvent-borne gloss finished paint coating system for building and maintenance professionals. It can be specified with confidence, even for direct application on to prepared rusting ferrous metal surfaces. It's hybrid modified urethane formulation offers excellent sag resistance for high build application in just one coat, and offers good low temperature drying properties. It produces an attractive, flexible and protective paint film with good colour retention.
Suitable for exterior and interior application by brush, short/medium pile roller and HVLP spray in the building and light industrial sector (the specification of a separate anti-corrosion primer is recommended in more aggressive industrial environments ). Recommended wet film application thickness is 100 microns (dries to 55 microns). Brush or roller application may require 2 coats to achieve recommended dry film thickness.
Rustoleum's Combicolor range is deliberately formulated to produce a slightly softer and extensible protective coating which can offer long maintenance periods. So don't expect a rock hard coating. But in our own tests 7 days after application, we found the Combicolor 7300 Original offers much better initial abrasion resistance, compared with Rustoleum's other Combicolor 7300MS Multi-surface product.
It's available off the shelf in white (RAL 9010) and black (RAL 9005), and we can also tint 1 litre and 2.5 litre sizes to ANY British Standard, RAL, Little Greene, Farrow & Ball or NCS colour etc., as a customised order.
How to order Mixed Colours...
Just select the 'mixed colour' option from the drop-down box, then send us an email containing the colour you would like your Combicolor to be tinted to or Simply specify your colour in the comments section after you have confirmed your order. (Please note: mixed colours are customised according to your colour requirements, cancellation restrictions apply, takes 48 hours longer to ship from our warehouse).
Application: Follow manufacturers instructions. Clean and prepare surfaces. Apply 1-2 coats of Rustoleum CombiColor 7300 by brush, roller or spray to all areas to be decorated. (Galvanised, Zinc and Aluminium surfaces should first be primed with CombiPrimer 3302 Adhesion Primer). Thinning: up to 10% Rustoleum 7301 Thinner. Theoretical Coverage: 10 square meters per litre (practical coverage will be less, depending on the profile and porosity of the substrate). Touch dry: 2 hours. Hard dry: 7-14 days. Recoatable: 16 hours. Times given are for 20 deg.C and good drying conditions, (drying times will be increased at colder temperatures or poorer drying conditions). Do not apply when application or drying conditions will be below 5 deg.C.
