Semi-Gloss Farm Oxide Paint is a safe and non-toxic general purpose coating for use on a wide variety of substrates including wood, steel and masonry without the use of a separate primer or undercoat.
Bare wood - Thoroughly abrade, wipe clean with White Spirit and prime with Semi-Gloss Farm Oxide Paint thinned with 15% White Spirit followed when dry by one further unthinned coat of Semi-Gloss Farm Oxide Paint.
Bare Steel - Chip, scrape and wire brush to ST2 Swedish Standard and prime with Semi-Gloss Farm Oxide Paint thinned with 15% White Spirit, followed when dry by one further unthinned coat of Semi-Gloss Farm Oxide Paint.
Bare Masonry - Should be dry and free from loose and flaking or powdery material, oil or grease. Stabilise by applying one coat of Semi-Gloss Farm Oxide Paint thinned with 15% White Spirit followed when dry by one further coat of unthinned Semi-Gloss Farm Oxide Paint.
Touch dry in 1½-2 hours, Hard dry in 16 hours at 20°C. Theoretical Coverage 12 square meters per litre per coat. Practical Coverage 10 square meters per litre per coat. Available in Red, Green and Grey in 5 litre sizes only.
