TorLife Exterior Coloured Gloss Finish is a high performance, solvent-borne, two-pack epoxy coating for use over most types of correctly primed exterior surfaces. Specifically developed to provide an outstandingly tough exterior surface coating, with exceptional chemical resistance.
It provides a seamless, tile-like surface for use in industrial applications, providing outstanding resistance to weathering, high abrasion, and exceptional solvent and chemical resistance, with brilliant colour fastness.
These properties make it ideal for regular cleaning, and make it ideal for use as an excellent anti-graffiti finish, providing a high level of decorative protection to a wide range of unpainted and previously painted surfaces, and offering excellent chemical and abrasion resistance well in excess of conventional paint systems.
It's available as standard in white and black. We can also tint to ANY British Standard, RAL, or NCS, colour as a customised order. Just select the 'mixed colour' option from the drop-down box, then send us an email containing the colour you would like your finish to be tinted to. (Please note: mixed colours are customised according to your colour requirements, cancellation restrictions apply, takes 48 hours longer to ship from our warehouse).
Use of TorLife ST Primer enables non-convertible surfaces such as pliolite based masonry coatings and chlorinated rubber finishes to be overcoated with this Torlife system.
Use of our Epoxy Polyamide 2-pack Rust Inhibiting Primer enables manually cleaned steel and iron surfaces to be overcoated with this Torlife system.
TorLife 2-pack Epoxy Exterior Coloured Finish System comprises the following specifications:
External Previously Painted Surfaces: 1 Coat TorLife ST Primer; 2 Coats TorLife Exterior Coloured Gloss Finish or Satin Finish. External bare, non-porous surfaces: 1 Coat WSE Primer/Adhesion Promoter; 2 Coats TorLife Exterior Coloured Gloss Finish or Satin Finish. External porous cementitious surfaces: 1 Coat TorLife Masonry Sealer; 1 Coat TorLife Masonry Primer; 2 Coats TorLife Exterior Coloured Gloss Finish or Satin Finish. External bare, non-ferrous metal surfaces: 1 Coat Epoxy Polyamide 2-pack Rust Inhibiting Primer; 2 Coats TorLife Exterior Coloured Gloss Finish or Satin Finish.
Preparation: The surface should be correctly prepared and suitably primed, clean, dry and free from any surface contamination. Application: Apply by short pile roller, or brush for smaller areas. Theoretical coverage: 10 square meters per litre. Practical coverage: 8 square meters per litre. Typical thickness: 100 microns wet, 50 microns dry film thickness. Application and curing temperatures should be above 10°C.
Drying Times: Touch dry in 1 hours, hard dry in 8 hours at 20°C. Finish/Colour: Gloss finish, in White, Black and any RAL or BS4800 colour. Supplied as a base and activator in correct proportions (6:1) to make 5 litres. DO NOT MIX PART UNITS. Pot Life: 8 hours @ 20°C. Cleaning: Clean equipment using Epoxy Thinners. Minimum overcoating time: 8 hours Maximum overcoating time: 48 hours. Do not clean coated surfaces for a minimum of 7 days to allow curing.
