Moisture Cured Binder Sealer is a high performance, single-pack, clear stabilising sealer and binder for the stabilisation of bare or porous concrete surfaces prior to overcoating with our Moisture Cured Floor Paint System.

Ensure all areas are clean, sound, dry and free from all dust, dirt, loose and flaking material, and general surface contamination. All oils, grease and other contaminants, etc. should be removed with a suitable degreasing solution and/or steam cleaning. New concrete must be fully through-dry (a rule-of-thumb guide is to allow 1 month of drying time for every inch of concrete laid - For example 6 months for 6 inches of concrete). Etch or mechanically abrade any hard smooth, chemically treated or power floated concrete floors, and remove any surface laitance (soft under-bound surface layer).
Theoretical coverage up to 16 square meters per litre. Practical coverage will vary depending on the porosity and profile of the substrate, typically 3 - 6 square meters per litre on porous and/or rough surfaces. Touch dry in approximately 2 hours. Hard dry in approximately 4 hours. Minimum overcoating interval: 4 hours. Maximum overcoating interval: 24 days (it is important that the Moisture Cured Binder Sealer is overcoated with our Moisture Cured Floor Paint within this time period to ensure a good chemical bond occurs between both coatings). These times are based on a temperature of 20°C, normal relative humidity and good drying conditions. Do not apply if temperatures are below 10°C, especially in areas of low ventilation.
