Zinsser Allcoat Exterior is a genuine low-maintenance exterior matt-finished, water-borne coating which produces a very modern dead-flat low reflective finish. Unusually, it can be applied to virtually all exterior surfaces without using a separate primer.
Allcoat exterior Matt is quite popular for painting soffits and facias (underneath the eaves), where it is produces a dead flat low-reflective modern finish. Matt finishes tend to hold the dirt a little more, so using them on areas like soffits and facias which are more protected from dust and dirt by the eaves, makes sense.
It's an ideal product for specifiers and building maintenance professionals, who need to reliably specify a high performance coating system on important exterior projects with lots of different surface types.
Use directly onto wood, plastics, uPVC, galvanised metal, cladding, concrete, brick, stone. Even directly over weathered coatings like bitumen, tar varnish or creosote. It offers fantastic adhesion, so will stick to glossy surfaces without any need to abrade them. (Note: Ferrous metals i.e. Iron/Steel which might rust etc. will however need to be primed with one of our a rust inhibiting primers first). Remove wax and degrease all surfaces using Grax-it, (or other suitable proprietory degreaser) to ensure adhesion of the coatings to the substrate.
Zinsser Allcoat Exterior offers good moisture vapour permeability, which allows moisture to leave the substrate and pass through the coating film at higher rates, without blowing off the coating film. Quick drying times allow also it to be recoated in as little as 1 hour.
Zinsser Allcoat Exterior's water-borne formulation provides excellent resistance against cracking, blistering and flaking. The tough flexible finish is resistant to rain and severe weather and it offers excellent colour retention, so that strong colours remain bright and beautiful for longer. Matt finishes can hold dirt a little more than satin and gloss finishes, so bear that in mind when choosing the right coating finish for your project.
It's available off the shelf in 1L, 2.5L and 5L in white and 1L and 2.5L in black. We can also tint 1 litre, 2.5 litre and 5 litre sizes from stock to ANY British Standard, RAL, NCS, Little Greene or Farrow & Ball colour as a customised order.

Just select the 'mixed colour' option from the drop-down box, then send us an email containing the colour you would like your AllCoat to be tinted to or Simply specify your colour in the comments section after you have confirmed your order. (Please note: mixed colours are customised according to your colour requirements, cancellation restrictions apply, takes 48 hours longer to ship from our warehouse).

Application: Follow manufacturers instructions. Clean and prepare surfaces. Apply 2 coats of Zinsser AllCoat using a good quality synthetic brush (Like the Fossa ViperTrim) or airless spray to all areas to be decorated. Theoretical Coverage: 12 square meters per litre. Touch dry: 30 minutes. Hard dry: 7 days. Recoatable: 1 hour.
Zinsser Allcoat Exterior Matt is available in 1L and 2.5L tins in black and 1L, 2.5L and 5L tins in white. It can also be mixed in 1L, 2.5L and 5 Litre tins to any British Standard, RAL or NCS colour as a customised order (see above).
Note: Not suitable for flooring, or surfaces subject to water immersion. Drying and recoat times will be extended at lower temperatures. *Same day despatch applies for orders placed before 2pm on working days, and only where we have sufficiant stock available.
