Zinsser Universal Degreaser Cleaner, is a multi-purpose alkaline chemical cleaner in a 750ml trigger spray, for degreasing and general cleaning of a wide variety of surfaces, and removing tough stains quickly and effectively.
This is a different european formulation of the original KrudKutter liquid cleaner, which is 'broadly' effective on similar cleaning tasks as the original USA formulation, but is now marketed in the UK under the Zinsser brand.
It's useful for quickly preparing problem surfaces prior to painting, and also removing tape residue, glue, marker pen, soap scum, oil and grease from common household surfaces like tiles, grout, sinks, showers, tools, ovens etc.
Directions for use: Always test on an inconspicuous area first. Spray directly on to surface that is to be cleaned, and allow to penetrate briefly. For tougher jobs, apply generously, and allow cleaning liquid to stand on the surface for a few minutes before scrubbing with a stiff brush or scouring pad. Wipe off with a clean cloth or towel. If used before painting, ensure that any residue is thoroughly rinsed off with clean water and surfaces are allowed to dry, before applying any coatings.
Note: Alkaline liquids may mark metals, and will readily strip Lignin from wood. DO NOT use on leather, or varnished surfaces. Do not mix with any other chemical. Caution: May be corrosive to metals, Can cause severe skin burns and eye damage.
