Our Anti-dust Zip Door is a heavy duty reusable polyurethane zipper door for separation of rooms during construction and decorating projects, ideal for when spray painting. The Anti-dust Zip Door prevents the spread of dust, spray, and asbestos particles beyond the work area. The curtain is suitable for multiple reuse.
It's manufactured with a pre installed nylon zipper, and uses a heavy duty opaque white polyurethane for improved privacy - but which still lets light through. The pre-installed zipper allows you to install the Zip Door by fixing it with masking tape to the wall all the way round the door opening, including the bottom of the door - unlike self-installed zipper doorways where the unsealed bottom can still let lots of dust through as air moves around the building.
Moving to and from other rooms is quick and easy with the zipper, which is installed in a 'D' shape allowing full and easy access through the opening. The unzipped door can be permanently rolled back and secured with the hook'n'loop cord, for unimpeded access when you have your hands full, or when you are moving larger bits of equipment like ladders between rooms - which can otherwise catch and damage cheaper dust proof zip up doorways.
Securely attach the plastic sheet to the wall or architrave surrounding the doorway with the provided masking tape. Make sure you attatch the sheet to the correct side of the doorway, Otherwise you may be unable to open/close any original door should you need to secure work area. Then simply unzip/zip when entering/leaving the room.
Outer sheet dimensions approx 2.1 meters (high) x 1 meter (wide), Size of zipper door 1.9 meters (high) x 0.75 meter (wide). Overall Zipper length approx 3.2 meters.
